About the Presenter - Jill Kelby, PT, CEA
Ms. Jill Kelby has over 16 years of experience in ergonomics and injury prevention.
Her most recent experience has been with the second largest healthcare system in Minnesota in which she worked as an ergonomic/injury prevention consultant.
She has an extensive background in industrial physical therapy and ergonomic consulting from her work with smaller healthcare facilities, various business and industries and physical therapy clinics.
She has been involved in establishing and sustaining safe patient handling programs; injury prevention efforts in healthcare, industries and office environments and ergonomics consultant for new construction/remodeling projects.
She is knowledgeable in ADA and has teamed with insurance and company case managers on employee injury case management. She is certified in two functional capacity evaluation methods. Other experience includes onsite physical therapy and work hardening, pre-employment-post offer testing and physical demands analysis for several companies.
Ms. Kelby graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison with a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Physical Therapy. She has completed several advanced education courses in ergonomics and is certified by the Board of Certified Professional Ergonomists.
She is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association, Human Factors and Ergonomics Society and the Board of Professional Certified Ergonomists.
